Handmade in Cornwall – Four Variants Available

Part of the Fun of the Fair collection, this playful mug captures the joyful rhythm of a summer fairground. Each piece is individually hand-painted with expressive brushstrokes and a palette of warm reds, pinks and soft charcoals. The design is full of movement, with carousel-like shapes and swinging figures that bring the surface to life.
 
Thrown in local stoneware clay and finished in a food-safe glaze, the form is generous and rounded, perfect for everyday use. No two are identical, and the slight variations in decoration are part of what makes each mug unique.
 
Created by Susy Ward in her Redruth studio at Krowji, this series is limited to four decorative variations, each celebrating a different aspect of fairground joy.
